Allow 30-60 minutes for the additive to take effect before attempting to start the engine.
Allow the engine to idle for 30-45 minutes to adequately warm the vehicle’s fuel system for proper operation.
Product Application for Preventative Use Prior to Severe Winter Conditions:
Prior to shutdown add Red Alert to the fuel tank at a treat rate of 32 oz. per 50 gallons of fuel.
Allow engine to idle for 10-15 minutes to distribute additive throughout the vehicle’s fuel system.
Prior to normal operation, allow the engine to idle for 30-45 minutes to adequately warm the vehicle’s fuel system.
