Description

The pistol grip pulse nutsetter is a hydraulic pulse non shut-off air tool with trigger throttle. The pulse nutsetter is reversible and has an external exhaust control, a 1/4"" NPT air inlet, oil less blades, and a hex slip chuck. The Cleco pulse nutsetter offers a high degree of reliability, productivity, and operator comfort. The desired pre-set torque is sensed as hydraulic pressure in the patented Cooper Tools system. When the trigger is pulled, the motor is activated. As the torque increases, the hydraulic pressure increases. When the pre-set torque is reached, the tool will stall (pulse) and a simple release of the trigger resets the tool for the next operation. The mechanical governor in the pulse tool maintains a controlled run-down speed, reducing the initial torque spikes, providing consistent tightening, and a greater torque accuracy. The pistol grip pulse tool comes with both a top and bottom air inlet. This feature allows the operator to set the tool up in the work area that best suits their needs. The double chamber hydraulic unit in the tool means low vibration levels which helps in preventing Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTDs). The pulse nutsetter also has low torque reaction and noise levels, which make for greater operator comfort. The exclusive dual chamber in the air motor uses 50% less compressed air than conventional motors and also operates without lubrication, thereby affording reduced operating expenses
