Great Dane looks pensive & unsure about the Pekingese staring boldly from under his legs.
Morgan Dennis (1892-1960) was a superb artist, well known for his paintings of dogs and his illustrations of Scotties in Black & White Scotch Whiskey ads. Artist signature imprinted at lower right corner.
