WOULD MAKE A CUTE HALLOWEEN COSTUME
AUTHENTIC 1950's BROWNIES GIRL SCOUT UNIFORM
Includes the official Girl Scout dress with Membership pins
Uniform has no troop numbers on the shoulder  - someone has removed them (and not very carefully as there are little holes in the fabric) and there is a spot in the front just above the waist
and 70% Wool 30% Cotton hat
Uniform Material is  100% Cotton
SIZE:  no size tag
MEASURE LIKE THIS:
LAID FLAT FACE DOWN ON TABLE,
CHEST WIDTH:  ~ 17"
(from under arm to under arm--not the bra size!)
WAIST:  14"    (
from side seam to seam)
SHOULDER Seam to SHOULDER Seam:  ~ 11.5"
LENGTH:  ~28.5"
(from bottom collar seam to bottom hem) -has 7" turned up
SLEEVE LENGTH:  ~  7"
(shoulder seam to sleeve hem)
Please compare these measurements to a dress that currently fits
MADE IN THE USA!
Keep in mind, this is about 65 years old, so it has probably been "handed down" and worn and washed many times.
