Offered here is an original (circa 1920-30) dovetailed wooden shipping crate featuring stellar advertising graphics for the “California Prune & Apricot Growers Ass’n” - San Jose, California ~ SUNSWEET ~ “Nature Flavored” Large PRUNES. All four panels afford the farm home decorator some bold and bright graphics, with the large side panels demonstrating some tolerable washing out of the graphics. The end panels are aesthetically pleasing in all regards; with the entire box being durable and presentation worthy for any old time pantry arsenal. The bottom of the (11 1/4” x 7 3/4” x 13 1/2”) shipping crate has some loose and cracked boards, requiring some easy restoration if intended for storage of heavy wares.
