A different take on their Crossfire line, Ashaway Crossfire Monogut 18g String combines a resilient synthetic gut cross string with their more durable Monogut for the main strings. The co-polyester Monogut provides good durability with more playability than aramid strings while the synthetic gut helps to soften the string bed even more. The result is that Crossfire Monogut provides a more responsive string bed for hard hitters that want a softer feel without sacrificing durability. An improvement over traditional hybrids, Monogut holds its tension exceptionally well for longer-lasting playability.
