    Description

    Butte Mont Montana glass dish
I believe this is Uranium Glass, however, I do not have an ultraviolet light to test if it is fluorescent.  I did put a halloween light under it in the last two pictures but it was not a true ultraviolet light.  So I guess you can be the judge.
Uranium was first identified in 1789 and was soon being added to decorative glass for its fluorescent effect.  It fell out of widespread use when the availability of uranium was sharply curtailed during the Cold War in the 1940's so this is probably pre-1940.
