    Description

    Original map "Partie Meridionale de la Russie Europeenne..." by Robert de Vaugondy, published in Paris c.1780. Copperplate impression on heavy paper shows divisions of governance in the late 1700s. Hand colored in outline, wide margins, and single fold as issued. Very good condition. Photograph shows shadow along center fold which does not appear on actual map. Measures 9 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches.
