Aramid fibers
are noted for strength and extreme durability. They behave elasticity in tension with fibrous structure contributing to notching resistance. Aramid fibers are highly durable and ideal for reinforcing racquet strings.
The durability of Aramid fiber is combined with the responsive playability of a high grade polyamide. The low elongation and high tensile strength of Aramid fiber prevent abrasion resulting in longer string life.
Aramid Composites is usually combined with other soft strings to reduce the string bed stiffness. It is recommended lowering the string tension of mains by 15% of the tension that a player would require a string comprised of exclusively to achieve an optimum playability.
