Description
This amber hand-blown bottle was made by Clevenger Brothers in 1975 in the limited-edition quantity of 215. It is a 7" high x 4" wide bottle embosed both front and back. The front side has "Halifax Resolves / 1776 Bicentennial 1976" embossed with image of people at meeting table and on the reverse "April 12 1776 / First Official / State Action For / Independence /First Call For All / Colonies To Concur / In Independency." It is in the form of a decanter. There is a New Jersey shaped sticker on side with image of Clevenger glassblower and which identifies the bottle as Authentic Handmade South Jersey glass. The item comes with a colorful N.C. Bicentennial Guide depicting and breifly describing some of North Carolina's "Firsts" in terms of certain events in furthering the Colonial cause during the Revolutionary War. See photos for details.
