The OC-5 is the definitive version of the octave pedal, completed by combining BOSS's traditional octave sound with the latest tracking technology.
In VINTAGE mode, the sound of the famous monophonic octave pedal OC-2, which was born in 1982, is faithfully reproduced, and in POLY mode, stable performance is possible in a wider range.
A new +1 octave sound has also been added, supporting a wide range of 3 octaves.

■ Classic tone VINTAGE mode
In 1982, the OC-2 debuted as the world's first modern octave pedal.
Its warm and strong sound can be heard on many historical masterpieces and is still loved by guitarists / bassists around the world.
The OC-5's VINTAGE mode, with state-of-the-art tracking technology, allows you to play the OC-2's iconic monophonic sound with a more natural response.
The two LEVEL knobs allow you to adjust the volume of the -1, -2 octave sound, respectively.
You can also use the DIRECT LEVEL knob to balance the direct sound and the effect sound, so you can control the sound as you like.

Another feature of the OC-5 is the smart POLY mode, which is a further evolution of the polyphonic octave first used in the OC-3 SuperOctave, and is fully compatible with chord playing.
