Up for bid is a 1993 Peter Gabriel tour shirt, from his Secret World tour in support of his album US. It features artist David Mach's interpretation of the song "Come Talk to Me" on the front and tour locations on the back.
The short-sleeved black shirt is 100% cotton and has never been worn. It is in like-new condition, with no fading of the screen printing on front or back - look at other examples and you'll see fading or cracking in the white circle surrounding the S in the US logo on the back - this shirt presents like it is brand new, with everything still in original condition. It has been in storage since new.
The shirt measures 22" pit to pit, 21" shoulder to shoulder, 28" collar to bottom.
The lone defect is a handwritten number 23 on the inside of its front from the concert merchandise stand, which is barely visible on the shirt's outside. It is visible as two marker's-width lines an the very bottom in the close-up of the shirt's hem - it is virtually unnoticeable to the naked eye, but it is there. The shot in which the number is more visible is a photo of the shirt's inside.
