Rare Tomy 2003 Pikachu MicroPet

Description

MicroPets are only one inch high. They can interact with each other, responding to each other's sounds and actions. They also have voice recognition and can follow commands that are spoken to them....no programming needed. They sing, they play and according to Tomy, they'll even get upset when they're left out. This little guy is a real find! I got him for Christmas in 2003 when he was first released. He’s super rare and I have never seen another one like him go for sale anywhere. Pikachu has been gently played with and functions in all the same ways as any other micropet, although I don’t know if he interacts with other micropets. I don’t have the box he came in or the instruction booklet, although I know that both had Japanese text on them that I couldn’t read. It’s safe to say that he turns on and off just like any other micropet, and require two LR44 batteries to function.
Wake up pikachu by pressing the button on his head; he will perform an action to let you know he is awake. Say a phrase to your MicroPet, then wait for his cheeks to light up. Now say a second phrase and pikachu will follow your command. For example, say, "Pikachu," then wait for his cheeks to light up, then say, "Run," and he will run.
MicroPets display two "moods," "happy" and "bad," depending on the commands it receives. If you repeat the same command over and over, your MicroPet will display a "bad" mood. It will then refuse to listen to your commands and will not respond to you. Praise your pet to cheer it up and make it happy. For example, say, "Good job," to your MicroPet.
Press the button on top of Pikachu’s head while he is performing a command to reset Pikachu.
Hold down the button on the top of Pikachu's head for three seconds to make him go to sleep; he will sing a goodbye song before shutting down.
