Was .99 This is NOT a Junior Scout uniform but an INTERMEDIATE DRESS that was available from 1948-1963. The difference is the Knotted Tie and Pockets with a cuff on them (there is a tiny tear in the pocket behind the cuff which you can see in the pictures). The Dress is the lighter weight one made from washable sanforized cotton and has short sleeves. It required a Sash for badges unlike the long sleeved one. On the Sash is the Council Strip-DOWNEY-the troop #160, Troop Crest, Brownie Wings, 1st and 2nd Class Badges and 5 Intermediate badges. The Tie is the snap-back one with embroidered trefoils on each end that was introduced in 1948 and could be used on any Intermediate uniform. The Traditional Pin goes on the square knot on the tie. There is a “Girl Scouts USA” Patch on the sleeve. The Dress has a 6 gored skirt which was not only flattering but also easy to walk in. It has been sewn closed the last 2 button holes (1 with a button and 1 not) very nicely done-perhaps the Scout didn’t like how it opened on the front bottom. There is also the World Association Pin over her heart as it is supposed to be and 3 membership pins-could either be worn on the pocket or sash. The Hat is 100% Wool with the Trefoil Logo in a circle. This is the correct hat for this uniform and is in fair shape with a few holes as most of these wool hats have. The Belt is the adjustable Elastic one with a shellack finish. This is a nice complete uniform that has been in a collection for many years. I take the time to research my uniforms so I can give you a nice uniform with all the correct items on it and some history too. Please see the pictures for Condition and Measurements.
