Tennis strings - Vintage But New

Description

At one point in time I was an avid tennis player, as in playing 2-3 times each week.   Unfortunately several years ago I sustained an injury that put an end to my participation in the sport.
When I played, I of course had several racquets, and some time my son, who had a stringer then, handled the restringing.   I was going through a box of tennis accessories and happened upon these six sets of strings.   I have had these for a while, but they have been stored in a temperature regulated home - ours.  I am told in spite of that, the strings are still fine to use, and all are in new condition, sealed bags.
Here is what I have:
*  Snauwaert Dynocraft Crystal Clear Synthetic Tennis Strings.   Made in W. Germany.
*  Snauwaert Oilfilled Carbon Impregnated - Spiral Synthetic Tennis Strings.  Made in Japan.
*  Nylgut Comp. Synthetic Gut Tennis String.  Made in W. Germany.  (These are yellow).
*  Nylgut Comp. Synthetic Gut Tennis String.  Made in W. Germany.  (These are pink).
*  AG International AG 16 High Performance Synthetic.   36 feet - 16 gauge.   Made in Taiwan.   (These are burgundy).
*  AG International Fanatasy Fireworks.   36 feet - 15 gauge.  Made in Taiwan.   (These are multi-color).
As an aside - Once I won a radio contest and the prize was to spend the day playing and receiving lessons from tennis greats Rod Laver and Roy Emmerson.   Quite an experience.
Also, I once played with Kenny Rogers, and he too was a pretty accomplished player.
And lastly -  I collect old racquets, currently with in excess of 200.   Although some are somewhat more contemporary, e.g., Wilson T-2000, etc., many are vintage wood as I really enjoy the beautiful old wood striations.   But the problem was that I had no place to display them.   One weekend my wife was out of town and being bored, I decided to display them in our library.   It was a room used mostly by me and seemed a viable choice.   I went to Home Depot and purchased small hooks and proceeded to hang them all over the ceiling - head to handle style.   I could lay on the floor and look up at an amazing array of old tennis racquets.   Quite dazzling, and I thought an excellent solution.   Unfortunately, my wife was not as dazzled as I.   Needless to say, she was less than pleased, but by then the damage had been done - or from my point of view the mission a success.   And I am pleased to report they remain covering the ceiling to this day!
