    Press in the center and it will randomly play one of those 4.
    I inserted fresh batteries in the unit and tested. 1, 2, and 3 are pretty consistent each time you press that corner. 4 isn't quite as consistent, sometimes it takes a second press. Pressing in the center sometimes results in the same phrase multiple times in a row, rather than randomly changing every time. But maybe I'm pressing off center and getting a corner by mistake. It's 32 years old, and maybe hasn't been used since the early '90s, so it might just need to be used.
    Package is in great shape, with the slight tape damage on the back that you can see in the pictures.
