TONY ACEVEDO COLD CAST BRONZE FIGURINE OF A GREAT DANE DOG FAMILY, LT EDITION

Description

Tony Acevedo is a world renowned artist specializing in dog figurines, produced primarily in cold cast bronze*. This is a gorgeous limited edition sculpture of a Great Dane family, including sire, dam and two puppies. Each dog is beautifully detailed and modeled as one would expect from the work of this fine artist. Both of the puppies have bandaged ears, and while one sits obediently looking at her sire, the other puppy has stolen a sandal and is carrying it in her mouth, intent on trouble. Each dog is connected to the base with pins corresponding to holes in the base, so each can be removed for shipping. The cold cast bronze base is mounted to a wood underbase.
The sculpture is signed by the artist and is numbered, this one being number 57 of  350. Overall size is 9 3/4" tall by 15 1/2" long by 11" wide.
Tony's work is produced by Dannyquest Designs. His sculptures are included in the permanent collection of the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog and are offered as Best in Show and other important trophies at dog shows around the world. They also reside in the collections of dog fanciers the world over. *The Dannyquest cold cast bronze sculptures contain a heavy concentration of powdered bronze throughout the resin casting. Each figurine is hand buffed to bring out the luster of the bronze and is then finished with a hand rubbed wax patina. This piece weighs just under 11 pounds. It can be shipped and local pickup is available.
This piece is in excellent condition with the exception of one puppy. The puppy with slipper has had the end of the tail broken off and retouched by a previous owner. The left rear foot of the same puppy was broken off and repaired by a previous owner. That puppy leans inward on her support posts. See closeup photos. Priced accordingly.
