Vintage GREAT DANE Aluminum Dog head for Mounting Chain Link or Trucks?

ossibly a chain link fence or truck ornament (logo / emblem for the Great Dane Trailer company).
Hallmarks: None.
Approximate age: I believe this is from the 1950's,
Dimensions: 6.5” tall x 4.75" wide x 0.5" thick.
Condition: Excellent giftable condition .  No mounting hardware. Divot just on left corner of eye.  Metal free of corrosion, dents, bends, pings, dings, or other mentionable issues.
Unpacked weight: 8.1 oz.
