Vintage Original Louis Marx Pete the Talking Parrot Moves RARE.
This is a rare 1960’s "Pete the Talking Parrot" by Louis Marx, Inc. Made in Japan. Pete's eyes light up and his head and lower beak move. His wings flap slightly and his tail feathers move side to side. The base is tin litho designed like a tree stump surrounded by flowers, plants, and grass, with Pete perched on a branch. Pete is supposed to record voices, but this feature does not work. Depressing the white button while the black action button is depressed makes some static noises, but no recordings. Pete's felt feather plumage has some staining consistent with age. This toy is very collectible and hard to find in this condition.
