Description

This is a vintage wooden shipping crate or box. One end is marked: "PENNANT BRAND PRUNES...25 LBS. NET...Packed by CALIFORNIA PACKING CORPORATION. MAIN OFFICE - SAN FRANCISCO, CAL." The other end is marked: "GROWN and PACKED IN CALIFORNIA U.S.A....70 - 80 INCLUSIVE." The box measures 12 & 1/2 inches long by 9 & 3/4 inches wide. It is 6 inches tall. The condition is GOOD. The end that reads "PENNANT BRAND PRUNES" seems to have been assembled upside-down. There is a knothole on the bottom of the crate. On the side, there is a sizable wood chip, near the corner. The crate has some minor wear from normal use, but no serious damage. It displays nicely and is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
