    Claim map is survey number 824, mineral district no. 2 of the Griffith Mining District, Clear Creek County, Colorado, dated December 12, 1878. Survey completed by Geo. E. Marsh complete with shaft and tunnels. Claim of Guy C. Hayes and Geo. B. Tyler. The Griffith Mining District is located near present day Georgetown, Colorado. Signed by U.S. Surveyor General for Colorado Wm. L. Campbell.
